The Adventures of Balto, the Untold Story
Patricia Chargot, a writer for Yak's Corner of the Detroit Free press wrote a children's book about Balto, the husky made famous as the savior of the children of Nome Alaska. Balto was the lead dog on the last leg of a relay race to carry diptherium serum to Nome. Ms. Chargot wanted the book be on the web so that children could read it and know the true story of the life of Balto.
Cornerstone Works set the book up in a child friendly site. The Adventures of Balto not only tells the true story, but does so in a friendly and inviting environment.
